How do I measure my windows?

If you ordered samples, there is a handy measurement guide included with your samples. Alternatively please choose the relevant guide by clicking on the link “Measuring and Fitting” - it is at the bottom of every page and includes more detailed instructions including bay windows.

How much does delivery cost?

UK Mainland delivery for orders under £100.00 in value is £7.95

UK Mainland delivery for orders over £100 in value are FREE
Overseas deliveries, (including Isle of Wight) are variable according to weight and destination. For any deliveries that fall into this category, please contact us first for a quote.

Can you send me a sample?

Yes. Free samples can be ordered directly from our website. Just click on 'Free sample' when viewing a particular product. You should receive them within 2-3 working days. 

I haven't received my samples

We strive to post all samples first class, on the same day if received before 4pm Mon-Fri. If you have not received your samples within 4 working days of ordering, please get in touch with us.

Can you give me a quote?

All price quotes can be obtained online at the time of product selection, there is no obligation to buy and items can be removed from the shopping basket right up until the point of order confirmation. Simply enter your desired width and drop in the relevant boxes, add any configuration you require and click on 'Get Price'. 

What is your policy on damaged items?

Please check packages carefully before signing for them. If the contents cannot be checked please write 'Unchecked' on the courier's document or terminal. It is important that the items are checked carefully and that any damages are reported to us within 3 days of receipt, otherwise a claim cannot be made.

What should I do if I receive items that are the incorrect size?

All items should be removed from their outer packaging and measured. The outer packaging for made-to-measure items can often be labelled with the dimensions from which they were cut and not their finished size. If you have definitely received the wrong size items, contact us and we can arrange for them to be collected and replaced. Once we have examined the items, we will then despatch your new correct size items. To expedite the process we normally ask for a photograph to be emailed to us.

I have measured incorrectly, what can I do?

If your item is made-to-measure you will have to order new items as we cannot accept these as returns, however we can offer a 25% refund on the old items.

Is VAT charged on deliveries to the Channel Islands?

VAT is not payable for deliveries to the Channel Islands, however please contact us prior to pacing an order to obtain a quote for delivery charges.

I haven't received my items and the delivery date stated has passed.

If you have not received your items within the advised delivery period, please contact us by email or telephone.

How do I install my Blinds?

You should have received all necessary instructions with your items. Alternatively select the relevant installation guide for your item from the “Measuring and Fitting” link – it is at the bottom of every page.

How accurate are the swatch colours on your website?

Although we do our very best to accurately reproduce the colour and texture of our products, computer monitors vary significantly in the representation of images. All our blinds are custom made to your specification so we cannot accept any responsibility for blinds which do not match you colour scheme exactly. If an exact colour match is required, then please order a sample before placing your order as we can only accept returns in cases where we have supplied incorrectly or the product is faulty.

What is your Returns and Refunds policy?

Your order is custom made to your specified measurements as entered by you on our website. We do not hold any stock, therefore we are unable to accept returns, modifications or exchanges unless the product is damaged, faulty, incorrectly sized or the incorrect colour/product.

How do I place an order?

Simply browse the products available and click on the item you require. At this point you will then see the available styles and colour options. Choose an option and configure and price the item. If you are happy at this point, the item can be added to your shopping basket. Any product can be removed from the cart right up to the point that the order is confirmed so do not worry, you can always remove items from the basket. On confirming and placing an order you will receive an email confirmation.

Payment: What forms of payment do you accept?

As all products from Window Fashion Direct are custom made to your specifications, all orders are paid for at the point your order is placed. Orders paid for with Visa, Mastercard, Switch & Maestro are accepted online. You can pay by cheque or postal orders etc but these must be sent to us before your order is started. All orders paid for in this way will require a period of around 7 days for your cheque to clear before the order will be put into production. We use Paypal as our payment portal and you are passed through to their website for payment.

Is it safe to give out my credit card number online?

We take online security very seriously. All personal details including payment are processed on the very latest secure server using 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) architecture. We do not store your credit card details on our website. Your credit card details cannot be read or tampered with during transmission and at the point we need to take payment you will be transferred to the Paypal website. Once again these credit card details are encrypted using SSL so you can be confident that your information is secure at all times.

Can I have my items delivered to an address other than my home address?

We are happy to arrange for deliveries to be made to a work address or neighbour's address but please be aware that most items we despatch will require a signature upon delivery. Please ensure that you have indicated a different delivery address when you place your order, there is the facility to state the address during the checkout process.

Is it possible to state a time for delivery?

Unfortunately not. As products are delivered by 3rd party carriers we are not in control of the process. Normal delivery times are between 8.00am and 7.00pm and if this is an issue the solution we recommend is to organise receipt either at work or with a neighbour.
